So that big drum turned out to be awesome as all hell. We started out by Tyler, Devo and Ari playing it at Fudge alley, then we played it around Lafayette and decided to get Devo's video camera. We left for Walnut Creek with Sparky, Justin, Tyler, Devo, Viz, Torrey, Ari, me, a big drum and a camera.

Our first stop was a theater, where the guard came out and then some police came by, when the police asked if he wanted the police to make us leave, he said "No they're cool." Next we went across the street and they played while some dude was dancing like Michael Jackson.

I dont remember the exact order of everywhere we played after that, but somewhere soon after that it was at a bar where this dude tried to get us to walk through while playing the drums cuz his dad owned it, but that didnt work so we just played outside and everyone inside clapped and it was good. Then the guy was like "lets go across the street and play in that restaurant" cuz his dad owned that too. So we went in and the manager/host guy was extatic and wanted us to play really badly, so Tyler, Ari and Dev put on a really good performance there and the ppl in there loved it and we were given free sodas. The dude who seemed to be the manager was pretty chubby and started doing some sort of belly dance thing and it was hilarious. After that I think we played at this atrium type thing, but the croud there was full of spoilsports and they sucked so we left pretty quickly.

The next place we went was a bar/restaurant and ppl were outside and Tyler yelled "DO YOU WANNA HEAR SOME DRUMS?!!!!!!!!" and we recieved a "NO" so we just walked away, then there was a "COME BACK AND PLAY SOME DRUMS PUSSIES" so we went back and the drummers put on a pretty good one, so there was a standing ovation.

The last place was a bar where EVERYONE there wanted us to play, and we were just outside and ppl were standing on the deck already waiting for some drumming to go down, and then the bouncer told us we had to go, so Tyler yelled "DO YOU WANT SOME DRUMS?" and everyone was like "YES!!!" but the bouncer said we had to go anyway, he obviously wont make it far in life not doing what the customer wants, this guy was seriously an idiot. So we went across the street and played there, then the guy called the cops and we left. Some ppl cant take a fucking hint.

Somewhere in the midst of all of that was playing at Chili's, some other restaurant, on a fountain, at Barns and Noble, and hitting it really hard and fast whenever we went by ppl as I was carrying it.

Damages: Two drum sticks completely broke and another is in critical condition. The drum had two sides one that is plastic and strong, the other made of who knows what and very weak, well Devo hit the weak one with a regular stick instead of a mallet type one with furry stuff, and put a huge hole in it. He asked how much to pay, but i dont really care, I think I'll have to go to get sticks anyway, so I'll see about fixing it. What was worse was the way i was carrying it, that side kept ripping more and more against my stomach.
